Priory Barn - Lewes Conservation Area, East-Sussex

Priory Barn

Louise bought this plot with existing planning for conversion of an old traction engine shed in a yard in the Lewes Conservation Area.

It proved impossible to convert the exiting single skin brick building and Louise worked with architects Baker Brown who successfully got planning for an eco house, smaller than the original footprint, subsequently giving the house some outside space and sweeping views to the Downs.
